3 Tb sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup corn starch 2 cups water Combine in saucepan I was impatient and cooked this sucker on high but kept mixing. As soon as it started to solidify, I turned off the burner and distributed the mixture into jars that I had leftover from a previous bulk purchase. I was disappointed to see that a smudge of blue paint on Elsie's forehead stained her skin (just for a day). I don't know if it's because I used food coloring gel versus a water based one. I'm going to buy washable tempura paints next time. Source: Easie Peasie |
